Summer Veggies

The summer crops are slow this year. I am getting some Bitter gourds and Ivy gourds. Aubergines are growing slow. Tomatoes are picking up pace. Cucumber has been flowering and one is already the size of a cricket ball. Pumpkins are also flowering. The garden is flourishing with the creepers crawling into all available ground. May will be the harvest season.

Raddish Juice minus the bitter Taste

Yesterday I made Raddish Juice. Raddish is usually used by me for Salads. But this Juice was tasty and refreshing minus the bitter taste..!!
Raddish when eaten raw as a salad has a bitter taste and while burping has even a foul smell. These issues were overcome by this recipe.

Slice two medium raddish into small pieces. Chop some ginger and one green Chilly. Add this into the Mixer bowl and add two glass of water and blend it well.
Pour the juice into a glass and add half Lemon juice and some salt. Put some ice cubes...
Wow great healthy Juice of Raddish.

The ginger+ Lime juice+ Chilly will eliminate the bitter taste.
