Irumban Puli or Ilumban Puli is a super tasty item for making pickle. It is easy to get in Kerala households and is full of Iron hence the name and also many other health benefits. The ripe or raw puli is sun dried for 3-4 days with salt and then pickled as usual like any other item like mango or lemon etc. The dried Ilumban Puli achar is more tastier than the raw one.
