Cabbage and Cauliflower Soup in the Monsoon

Home grown Cabbages and Cauliflower Soup. Also added a handful of Drumstick (Moringa) leaves and Chilli with salt to taste. The Cabbages planted in November still now fully grown. So are the Cauliflowers and Broccoli. The Climate here in Kerala is not suitable especially the past March-April when the temperatures hit 40 degrees C. Now with the arrival of Monsoon, the plants will decay and I started to cut them and make Soups.
You can see a small ball of Cabbage which I will make a Green Salad this evening. All grown organically and it is very healthy in that way.

Hot Rajashtani snacks in Thrissur

Thanks to Narayan sweets on Koppan Lane, behind New Church, you can now eat Rajasthani dishes in Thrissur, Kerala. Run by Narayan and family, the tiny shop sells Sweets, Pakoras, Samosa, Pani poori, delicious Chaaz, Masala Chai and other savories. I like their Samosa, Pakora, Mirch and Aloo balls. Seen here are some Pakora balls which I took home and garnished with onion, chilli and lemon. Very good for the evenings.
