Ivy Gourd or Kovakka - A Life Saver

I am harvesting Ivy Gourd now a days. Thanks to the single stem I planted a year ago. I trimmed it twice now and it grows fiercely in my backyard. This time it had to fight with Bitter gourd on the same Pandhal. The Bitter Gourd yield was poor due to the constant attack of insects. I tried to cover them in Polythene bags but in vein. So I cut it down. The Kovakka plant can thrive now.
