Musk Melon or Shammam in Ollur Thrissur Kerala

Musk melon is the distant cousin of Water Melon. Not so much consumed as much as Water Melon. But it is rich in several nutrients and vitamins. I sowed some seeds from a M. Melon which I bought from the fruit stall in Thrissur. Several plants sprung up and I planted half a dozen of it. Now 4-5 plants are bearing fruit. Although small, it is sweet and soft inside.
